Laziness is the enemy of human beings but for a few of us, laziness is our best friend. Hello everyone welcome to the Home Based Business podcast by Mazavyapar. I am your host Ajinkya, in this podcast, I will help you understand how to stop being lazy. Let's get started.
I recently experienced there are no more fights over watching TV in homes nowadays. I felt, "wow, I use to fight a lot with my siblings and parents because I wanted to watch my favourite TV show. How do kids become so obedient to their parents when it comes to TV."
And within a second I got my answer. Because today everyone is roaming with TV in their pocket. Just download a few apps and you can use your mobile like a TV. You don't need a big-screen television anymore.
Everyone just loves to lie down on the bed and love to watch, not only watch binge-watch their favourite thing on mobile. It can be YouTube, Jio TV, Netflix anything. This is such a great feeling. Do you agree? It feels really great.
But do you know while enjoying lying on a bed you are feeding your laziness and taking yourself into trouble?
More and more people are becoming lazy and that's the reason I felt like writing an episode on how to stop being lazy. I am giving you a few of my ways of avoiding laziness and being super productive.
Use a wristwatch -
In this digital world, I am one of those rare people who is using a traditional wristwatch.
Today mobile phones have already eliminated the job of calculator, calendar, to-do list, camera, and many other things. Still, at the same time, you will rarely see people have stopped using wristwatches because today they can check out time on their phone.
Why are people still using traditional watches or smart wristwatches? Why do they carry one more device tied up to their wrist when they already have a phone to check time?
The answer is super simple. A wristwatch is a simple and convenient way to keep track of time. Unlike a phone or a tablet, a wristwatch is always within easy reach, making it quick and easy to check the time. Also wearing a wristwatch suggest that the person is punctual and values time management, as it is a convenient way to keep track of time throughout the day.
This small thing can help you stop being lazy. Because you might check out your phone to watch time and a notification pops up and you start watching reels for more hours and hours and end up feeling sleepy and lazy.
Take my advice and start using a write watch.
Find an accountability partner -
This is the most difficult thing in somebodies life right now. I know many of my friends who were at the top of their education and today they do nothing. Just nothing. In spite of having potential why they stopped taking action?
The answer is simple. While pursuing education exams and the fear of failing in the exams holds us accountable to our studies. There is no chance of failing. So you can talk to your friends, you can learn it by yourself, you can ask your teacher. This exam helps us get a lot of accountability partners in our education days.
Now people are earning a salary. Maybe they are doing good in their business. And when it comes to starting something new a business or a hobby, as there are no exams they will not care much about it. And they will not do it consistently.
In Mazavyapar we work with a lot of professionals who want to do something more than their existing profession. We use a TAT system in our community. "Target Achieved Target" to hold each other accountable. This thing helps us a lot.
When it comes to support, accountability partners can provide emotional support and encouragement, which can be helpful when facing challenges or setbacks.
When it comes to perspective. An accountability partner can provide an objective perspective on our goals and progress, helping us to identify areas where we may be falling short or need to make adjustments.
When we are held accountable, it can help us to stay focused on our goals and avoid distractions or procrastination.
A good accountability partner can help us lead to greater success and personal growth.
And that's how by working with a good accountability partner you can stop being lazy. If you are looking for a good accountability partner Mazavyapar is one of the communities you must join now.
Get organized.
The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past.
The moment you get organized you can clearly feel your stress levels reduced.
When everything is in its proper place and there's a clear plan in place, it can reduce stress and anxiety associated with disorganization and uncertainty.
Being organized can lead to greater efficiency in completing tasks, as you can more easily find what you need, avoid duplicating effort, and streamline processes.
A lot of clutter around you always invites laziness in your mind.
