When someone is selling hair oil in his grocery shop understand he is just giving this product from his end to the customer's end. He did not bother about why someone is choosing this brand. For example, if there are 3 brands of hair oil in a shop named A, B, and C. These3 brands are doing heavy advertisements to convince their customer that their product is the best for them. And that buyer enters his shop with the decision of buying 'A' brand hair oil. So shop keeper doesn't need to put any extra effort to sell it. He is just handing it over from his shelf to his shopping bag. The decision, benefits, and benefits of money savings after buying brand 'A' has been conveyed to customers using different mediums by the brand itself.
But in the Home Based Business industry where you are not doing such massive advertisements why someone will choose you over any other multinational brand?
The answer is relationship. They know you better than any other brand. You created that relationship that bond between you and your customer and the result is they are not choosing a multinational big brand now they are choosing you.
To create and build this kind of bonding and relation with the customers you need different kinds of mediums where they can join you and understand your thought process behind doing what you are doing. There are multiple ways, email is one of them.

People don't change their email frequently. They use the same email for years. Maybe because it's been linked with important documents or places like universities, banks, and all. So email ID is one of the super important things we keep with ourselves. And if you are winning at getting someone's email ID that's a great start.
Email is everybody's Personal Space
Yes, this is true that people spend most of their time on social media and not in their inboxes. Then still why do I spend time creating an email funnel and writing emails? Understand Social media is a kind of public place. Whatever you are commenting, liking, or saying can be read by everyone. But when it comes to email it's everybody's personal space. The moment thing you want to share gets more and more important there are fewer chances you will share it on social media. The mindset of people who are scrolling emails and who are scrolling social media is completely different. So if you are getting access to someone's personal space imagine you can create wonders. So to get into the personal space of your customer or future customer you must use email marketing.
